BLOW! WMC op d'r Maat blows you away!
Just 71 days to go until it's finally time. The jubilee edition of the WMC will colour all of Kerkrade from Thursday 9 July to Sunday 2 August 2026. From the Rodahal to the Parkstad Limburg Stadion and of course the Markt: the whole of Kerkrade will breathe music and celebration. Today, organiser Stichting Kerkraads Evenementen Collectief (KEC) together with hospitality entrepreneurs from the city centre presents the programme for the festival BLOW! WMC óp d'r Maat. For four weeks, the atmospheric covered area on the Markt will be the meeting point for all of Kerkrade and the surrounding region. You can enjoy live music, a great (craft) beer and spontaneous encounters with old and new friends. In short, BLOW! WMC óp d'r Maat will blow you away!
Resounding line-up
With great pride, Roel Roukens, chairman of organiser KEC, presents the programme: "We have managed to programme two stages in our festival pavilion every Thursday through Sunday for no less than four weeks, featuring the best party and cover bands. There is almost too much to mention. We welcome 10 Feet Up, Anderkovver2 By Roy & Ray, And're Hazes Band, Big Band Time Out, Blizzert, Calvin Horsch, Das Tirol Team, Dj Dirndl, Dj Marco, Jambassadors, Lijn 7, SolidSonny's inc., Streetlife, The Night Flight, The Recipe, Tonca, Vaud and Wir Sind Spitze. In the lead-up to the WMC, the artists will be individually introduced as part of the BLOW! WMC óp d'r Maat marketing campaign. Follow the channels of BLOW by WMC Kerkrade and Beleef Kerkrade to stay up to date. In addition, WMC will programme spontaneous performances throughout the city under the name 'Fringe', featuring a diverse range of musical ensembles — from brass and wind bands to brass bands, percussion ensembles and show bands."
