What is VIDA?

Wind music on your screen, whenever you want

VIDA stands for Video & Audio — and of course for Viva la Vida, the icon of music city Kerkrade. It is a brand-new streaming platform built especially for the WMC.

After the disappointing crowdfunding news, the WMC found a new way forward. Thanks to the support of the crowdfunding campaign and a revised approach, the livestream is happening after all. And how.

"This was not only a great disappointment for us. The WMC without a livestream would detract from the status the WMC enjoys worldwide. We felt almost obliged to the participants and fans to do everything in our power to make it happen."

Edwin Hijman — WMC Media Producer

With thanks to

Everyone who believed in the WMC

The crowdfunding did not reach its target — but the support and involvement of everyone who contributed was the encouragement the WMC needed to find a new way forward. VIDA was made possible in part thanks to you.

Thank you. Viva la Vida.
