The Symphonische Blasorchester Kreuzlingen is one of the leading symphonic wind orchestras in Switzerland. It guarantees the highest quality in all areas of its work. The Orchestra is part of the cultural strategy of the city of Kreuzlingen and the canton of Thurgau. First-time participation in the Concert Division with 6th place in the "World Music Contest" 2022 and 4th place in the "Lucerne Symphonic Windband Contest" in the KKL Lucerne 2023 set new standards for symphonic wind band music in the region. Thanks to its high quality standards in all areas of its work, the SBO Kreuzlingen creates outstanding and exceptional experiences for its concertgoers. Every concert should inspire and be remembered as a special event. The Symphonische Blasorchester Kreuzlingen promotes talent from the region and offers committed and passionate orchestra members an attractive and innovative platform. It invests in the individual quality of the musicians and thus in the continuous development of the orchestra. In this way, the orchestra ensures its sustainable continued existence. Founded in 1883, the SBO Kreuzlingen can look back on over 140 years of history.
