Schwäbische Bläserphilharmonie
Harmonie 1e divisie
Bio
Since its foundation in 2016, the Schwäbische Bläserphilharmonie has gradually gained recognition as a select orchestra in Baden-Württemberg, offering ambitious musicians a platform at the highest level. As an independent symphonic wind orchestra, the ensemble is dedicated to literature at the highest level and acts as an important link between regional music associations and the international wind music scene. It is under the musical direction of Paul Jacot that the orchestra has achieved such remarkable successes. The highlight of the year was undoubtedly the overall victory at the renowned Flicorno d'Oro competition in 2024 in the Eccellenza category (highest class). In 2022, the Bläserphilharmonie was honoured to receive first place in the wind orchestra level VI category at the 7th competition for selective orchestras in Trossingen. The orchestra has a specific focus on promoting talented adults and offers musicians the opportunity to make music at an international level under professional direction. The Bläserphilharmonie has two project phases each year in which programmes for concerts and competitions are developed. The orchestra's repertoire is said to include works in a wide range of styles, as well as concerts with international soloists, and it is understood that these present both technical and musical challenges.
