Blasorchester Neuenkirch

Harmonie 1e divisie

Bio

The BON has been an integral part of the cultural life of Neuenkirch for more than 140 years. It's a fully developed wind orchestra, which has already celebrated a number of successes at home and abroad in the 1st strength class. The 65-strong wind orchestra has focused on symphonic wind band literature in order to bring it to a wider audience. Traditional wind band literature and popular music are also included. The musical themes range from rock, pop and swing to musicals and film music. In addition to the traditional annual concerts in November, the BON has set itself the goal of regularly organizing projects with artists from other musical genres. Musical recitals with vocal soloists, Carl Orff's “Carmina Burana” with a large vocal choir or the unforgettable performance with the hard rock band Irrwisch and the brilliant soloist concert with pianist and organist in the concert hall at KKL Lucerne deserve special mention. In addition to these performances, the many social events that the BOFMN supports or organizes should not be neglected. The friendly exchange between the musicians forms the basis for glamorous and unforgettable performances that inspire young and old and spread throughout the village of Neuenkirch.
