This page is intended for journalists, photographers and media representatives who wish to cover the World Music Contest (WMC) 2026 in Kerkrade.

To gain access to stages, contests and events during the festival, a press pass is required. Submitting an accreditation request does not guarantee approval; each application is carefully reviewed by the organization.

Pers Accreditatie

Journalisten, fotografen en mediavertegenwoordigers die verslag willen doen van het Wereld Muziek Concours (WMC) 2026 in Kerkrade dienen in het bezit te zijn van een geldige perskaart/accreditatie om te kunnen werken en toegang te krijgen tot de wedstrijdlocaties. 

Aanvragen dienen per email te worden ingediend bij georgedeswijzen@wmc.nl en worden zorgvuldig en zo spoedig mogelijk beoordeeld door de organisatie.

Beeldaanvragen

Het gebruik van (wedstrijd)beelden uit de livestream is niet toegestaan zonder toestemming van de organisatie. Neem voor de actuele voorwaarden en tarieven contact op met edwinhijman@wmc.nl

FAQ

  1. Press passes are strictly limited for all venues. Accreditations are granted based on media reach and media outlet.
  2. Per media company, a maximum of one accreditation per category (photographer, TV crew or written press) will be granted per application.
  3. Positions for photographers wishing to work in the Rodahal, Theatre and Stadium are very limited this year. Movement within the various venues is also restricted. More detailed information will follow once accreditation has been granted.
  4. During the Opening Parade, photographers may work freely, except at the official reviewing stand where the defilé takes place. Restrictions apply in this area.
  5. Video recording in the Rodahal, Theatre and Stadium is not permitted, with the exception of selected TV media.
  6. Further information regarding regulations for photographers and TV crews will be provided after accreditation has been granted.
  7. Accreditations will be confirmed before mid June.
  8. The deadline for applications is June 1.
  9. Parking facilities are not provided at the venues. Please take this into account.
  10. A limited number of workspaces will be available at the venues.
  11. Further information will follow in the coming weeks.
